This Friday's Staff Feature Friday puts the spotlight on our 6-12 Library Associate, Mrs. Tammi Edwards. Mrs. Edwards' family consists of her husband Tim, her son Dustin, a soon to be Daughter-In-Law, Kirstin, and her twin daughters Kloey and Karley.
Mrs. Edwards holds a Cosmetology License from Dayton's School of Hair Design, a Para-Educator Certification from Muscatine Community College, and most recently, her Emergency Medical Technician Certification from Southeastern Community College. Mrs. Edwards has spent a total of 11 years in the education field, with 8 of those years being spent in the Wapello Community School District.
In her spare time, you can find Mrs. Edwards spending time with her family and friends and enjoys giving back to the community through the Wapello Community Ambulance Service.
When we asked Mrs. Edwards what she liked best about working at the Wapello Community School District, she had this to say, "I most enjoy working with the staff and students at WHS. I feel that we have a great group of staff members who are willing to help one another out, and I especially enjoy the fun atmosphere we have developed in some of our small groups. The Students at WHS seem to have a friendly/fun loving attitude this year. To see them going through the halls with a smile on their faces and having a good time with one another makes my day."
