Today's Staff Feature Friday shines the spotlight on one of our Wapello High School English Teacher's, Ms. Jane Bostian. Ms. Bostian also serves as the Drama and Speech Coach for Wapello JR/SR High.
Ms. Bostian is in her 25th year in education with the last 22 of those years being here at Wapello. Ms. Bostian came to Wapello with three years of teaching experience in other districts.
Ms. Bostian holds degrees from both The University of Iowa as well as Southwest Missouri State (now Missouri State University).
In her spare time, you can find Ms. Bostian spending time with her nieces and nephews. She also loves to read as well as watch live theater whenever she gets the opportunity!
When we asked Ms. Bostian what she likes best about working at the Wapello Community School District, she had this to say, "Students; I know everyone says that, but it's true! We have, overall, a great set of students. And, I love especially, when they graduate and come back to visit or stay in touch. That small gesture says I somehow impacted their lives!"
