Even though it is Friday, today is a different Friday for all of us here at Wapello Community Schools, as we work through this new way of life for everyone, we do want to recognize one of our fantastic staff members. Today, for our Staff Feature Friday, we spotlight one of our Secondary Special Education Teachers, Mr. Jason Marshall.
Mr. Marshall has been in the education field for sixteen years. Wapello has been lucky to have him on our staff for the last eight years.
Mr. Marshall's family includes his wife Kristen, who teaches math at Wapello High School, his son Jaxon, a 7th grader at Wapello Jr/Sr High, and his daughter Emmalin, a 4th grader at Wapello Elementary.
Mr. Marshall graduated from Iowa Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's degree in History, and he holds a Master's Degree from Morningside College in Special Education.
In his spare time, you will find Mr. Marshall working outside, spending time on the golf course, and playing Call of Duty.
When asked what he likes best about working for the Wapello Community School District, he had this to say: "The staff is very friendly working with me and the students I serve."
Congratulations to Mr. Marshall on being selected for today's Staff Feature Friday. Make sure to check back next Friday to see who we spotlight for the next installment of our Staff Feature Friday!
