The Wapello 8th grade volleyball team concluded their season last night at Hillcrest finishing with a perfect 24-0 record in conference play for the season. The girls showed impressive volleyball knowledge and skills throughout the year and will be a great asset to the high school team in the upcoming years.

JH volleyball concluded their season yesterday at Hillcrest. The 7th graders finished the year with a 4-20 record and showed much improvement throughout the year. This was many of the girls first year of organized volleyball and with practice will continue to show growth in the future.

Thank you to Valerie Theobald and Ed Vineyard for visiting 1st grade! We learned all about dog safety. Ed's dog Scout got to come along too! Each student got to take home an activity book and a pumpkin. Ed's granddaughter/ Val's daughter, Rylie was proud to share Scout and pumpkins 🎃

Annie Allworth is our 1st grade, “Star of the Week!” She did a great job reading, “Biscuit and the Great Fall Day!” Annie showed the class her pet fish, Peter! We loved watching Peter eat his food!




Jocelyn Guckert is our 1st grade, “Star of the Week!” She shared her new unicorn, Bella, that she picked out to go with her bedset. She also did a great job reading, “May I Please Have a Cookie."
