Wapello FFA Livestock Judging Team traveled to Kirkwood community college to compete in the Livestock Judging Contest for high school students.
These 7th graders went along and competed.
Congratulations to Zach Harbison, Emily Hemphill, Jacie Hoeg and Ada Boysen for receiving 13th out 81 teams. These 7th graders competed against high school students and finished very respectuflly! Zach Harbison was 39th out 279 competitors, Rylan Moore was 51st overall, Jacie Hoeg was 59th overall and Emily Hemphill was 73rd overall. Rylan Moore, Codder Malcom and Jackson Lanz were 48th out 81 teams. Congratulations to all of our students on their accomplishment. The future of the Wapello FFA looks to remain very strong for years to come!

Due to wet conditions, the Varsity football game will be played in Ottumwa at Shafer Stadium at 7:00 pm. Monday’s JV football game will be played at Wapello at 6:00 pm.

Wapello Fire and Rescue was at the Elementary today working with our 5th graders on Fire Extinguisher Use as part of Fire Prevention Week 2018! We are glad to partner with our local Fire Department to teach our students fire safety! #wearewapello #wapellotribepride
