Congratulations to Tyra Lanz, Will Parsons, and Treyton Schulz, members of Wapello High School's Quiz Bowl team for their 5th place finish (out of 8 teams) at the WACO Invitational Tournament Monday night. Wapello lost their first match against VanBuren 150-180, then came back to win against Pekin 175-160. They lost their third match, against WACO-A ,135-210, and rallied to win their final match against WACO B, 180-55. Congratulations, Tyra, Will, and Treyton, on a job well done!

Congratulations to the WHS individual speech team on their accomplishments today! Receiving division one ratings and moving on to State speech are Lexi Brown in storytelling and solo musical theater and Kaden Yerington in radio news announcing. Receiving a division 2 rating were Addalyn Wagner in original oratory and reviewing, Emma Holmes in musical theater, and Kami Cross in acting! Wonderful job today everyone!
