This past weekend, WHS senior, Claire Anderson was honored as this year's nominee for the DAR Good Citizen Contest. She was a recipient of a scholarship and recognized with fellow local honorees.

Unfortunately, our WHS Boys Wrestling State Qualifiers wrestling careers have ended for Seniors Zach Harbison and Matthew Helscher. Both had a great run to make it to the State Wrestling Tournament and Wapello is proud of you both! Congratulations on a great career to you both!
Kindergarteners celebrated Valentine's Day, learned about being a good friend, and cheered on Zach and Matthew on their way to State Wrestling! We also had a visit from Abbie and Ryleigh from Artic Dental in Muscatine to learn about caring for our teeth and how long to brush (2 minutes). We were surprised to learn about how much sugar soda and juices contain! Kye got to be the dentist!
