Wapello Cross Country ran at the English Valleys Invite yesterday. This was the first race for the Junior High team this season. Next week the high school team will run in Burlington.
Wapello Esports team had their first competition of the year vs Danville losing a tough sudden death match of Smash Brothers. Wapello was led by Aiden Ueltschy who went 4-0, Sergio Castillo 3-1, and Evan Stephens 3-1. Next competition is Rainbow Six and it will be tomorrow.
Mrs. Wykert's class had a visitor from Esther's puppy, Oreo, today! We practiced being respectful and quiet so Oreo wasn't scared. Thank you to Esther's grandparents for bringing us our visitor!
Kindergarteners tried Green Eggs and Ham last week. Everyone tried it and most of them liked it!💚

Friday, September 15 at the football game in Van Buren, they will have a tailgate happening to support their "post prom" event. Wapello fans are encouraged to participate. Meal begins at 5:30 and is a "free will donation".

Tues 10/3 is our PINK OUT volleyball game at home vs Pekin. Start time is 5:30 p.m. Shirts are $15 each. Completed forms can be turned into the High School, Elementary office, or any coach. Venmo is also accepted.

FOOTBALLS... we have called an audible. If you would like to bring your football to games, you may do so. Here is the compromise...
Please only use the footballs in the area colored green on the map. We will also set up cones in that area, so everyone knows where the designated area is located.
For the safety of all spectators, this will be the only area footballs may be used.
