Today, 8th and 9th grade students participated in the first Elective Exploratory Fair at WHS. Students learned about the options in Art, Band, Choir, Industrial Technology, Agriculture, Family Consumer Sciences, and Business.

Kindergarten wrapped up our Chicken unit today with the final lesson from Samantha Jamison from Louisa County Extension and WHS's Jacie Hoeg. We reviewed the life cycle of a chicken and learned how eggs get from the farm to our homes for consumption. Our baby chicks will be going to Nurse Ann's farm to enjoy the country life!

The Wapello Boys golf team swept Central Lee and Highland today at Heritage Oaks. Wapello was led by Cooper Garrison with a 39 and Dawson Tipps with a 46. The girls split defeating Central Lee and losing to Highland.Girls were led by Liv Fuller and Dakota Griffin with 56 and 61






The Wapello Indian Baseball Apparel Webstore is now open. The store will be open until 4/30/23 and then will close, so we can make sure that everyone gets apparel in time for the first game on 5/19/23. Thank You for your support!

Gardeners! Mark your calendars! The Wapello FFA Greenhouse has announced their opening dates and times! The greenhouse will open on April 27 and 28th from 2:30 - 6:00 p.m. and again on April 29 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The FFA Chapter has been working hard to get ready to open the greenhouse doors for this annual sale! Cash, Check, and Credit Cards are accepted.
