Congratulations to the FIRST Robotics Team members on their successes over the weekend at the FIRST Iowa Regional Competition at UNI in Cedar Falls. In 2021-2022, in our team's first year competing, we finished with a ranking of 47 out of 48 teams. This year, in our team's second year, we made a very respectable improvement, with four wins and six losses and a finishing ranking of 38 out of 56 teams. Our young men and women worked hard all season, and this was their first year participating with over half of our team members. We are excited about what the future holds for Wapello Robotics and congratulate each team member for their growth and accomplishments this season!

Boys and Girls soccer are at home tonight, beginning at 5PM.
High school Soccer Fundraiser!! Ice cream pies and pints of soft serve. Pies are $20 and pints are $6. We are only selling until Friday, March 31st so these will be here in time for the long weekend! You must be able to pick up Wednesday, April 5th from 2-5 pm at the high school. Contact Megan Brown, Tony Hammer, Zach Archer, or any of the high school soccer players to order!

Our Queen Candidates include Ada Boysen, Kamdyn Hammond, Emily Hemphill, Jaci Hoeg, Tyra Lanz, and Tatum Wolford.
Our King Candidates are Garret Dickey, Kaleb Huxley, Logan Meeker, Ryan McDonough, Tyler Palmer, and Casey Short.

Secondary students in grades 6-11 will be ISASP testing next week! Testing schedule is as follows:
Monday - Reading
Tuesday - Math
Wednesday - no testing
Thursday - Language/Writing
Friday - Science (8th and 10th grade only) and make-up tests
Please make sure your students are getting a good night's sleep, eating a healthy breakfast, arriving to school on time and have their charged Chromebook each day.
Also, help students have a positive mindset about taking the ISASP tests. Results will inform teachers how students are progressing with the Iowa Core Standards.
Seniors do not test, so they will not need to be at school until 9:40 am each day, except Wednesday, they will report at the normal time.
Wapello Elementary Parents - Our school photographer, Halverson Photography, experienced an issue with their online ordering system for those that ordered spring pictures. That issue has been resolved, and the picture orders have been placed with a rush status. Once we receive the portrait packages, we will get those sent home. We apologize for the delay.
Wapello high school boys and girls soccer will be selling ice cream pies and pints of chocolate and vanilla soft serve from Country Style Ice Cream in the Quad Cities. Sale starts today and will end March 31st. These will be delivered on Wednesday, April 5th and must be picked up that day between 2 pm and 6 pm at the high school. Please contact a high school soccer player, Megan Brown, Tony Hammer or Zach Archer if you'd like to purchase one of these delicious pies or a pint of ice cream!
The Mr. WHS pageant has been rescheduled to May 12
