Our deepest apologies to senior Addy Knight, as her Senior Shout Out was not posted before graduation. We want to make sure we honor her as well- please read about this fabulous graduate!

Adellynn, lovingly known as Addy, is the daughter of Darin Knight and Kerry Hartz. In high school, Addy was a very busy student as she was involved in several extracurricular activities while at WHS. She participated in football cheer, volleyball, poms, and art club for one year, wrestling cheerleading, soccer, and choir for three years. She also was a four year member of band, drama, and student council.
Addy says that Mrs. Marshall has been her most influential teacher because, “She’s an extremely positive person and she works so hard to make sure everyone does the best they can. She’s always there when you need her and I’d love to be a light to others like she is to me.”
In the fall, Addy plans to attend PCI Academy’s Cosmetology Program.
Her “yearbook” quote would be, “Long story short, I survived.”

We are in need of workers at our games this summer. These jobs include ticket taker, announcer and scoreboard operator.
Various levels of baseball and softball are available.
These are paid positions.

Tee times have been announced for tomorrow's 2nd round. Wapello will tee off at 9 am with Matthew McGowan and continue in 10 minute intervals with Zach Harbison,Codder Malcom, Dawson Tipps, Casey Short, and Cooper Garrison. Wapello will be teeing off on hole #1.
Mediapolis Savings Bank will provide supper at the ballpark on Friday night, May 26, when the Indians and Arrows welcome the W-MU Wolves to town for baseball and softball action. Come out and enjoy a free hotdog (while supplies last) courtesy of Mediapolis Savings Bank next Friday evening!

Wapello Boys golf team finished Day 1 in 6th place 5 shots out of first in class 1A at Ames Golf and Country Club. Day 2 begins tomorrow at 10 am. Casey Short led Wapello with an 82. Cooper Garrison and Zach Harbison shot 85's. Dawson Tipps finished out the scoring with a 88.
