The countdown to competition is on for Wapello's FIRST Robotics Team, and they couldn't be more excited! Last Wednesday, Andy Schoepf and Mike Mott from S & J Tube came to our team practice to present the team with a new laptop (donated by S & J Tube) that has specialized components specifically designed for controlling a robot. It is a huge improvement from the laptop our team had been using; team members who are responsible for building and coding the robot are so excited at what the equipment upgrade means for our robot's capabilities and performance. There are less than 2 weeks to go before the robot is put to the test at the FIRST Robotics Competition at UNI, March 23rd-25th. Thank you again, S & J Tube, for your huge contribution to our Robotics Team! We greatly appreciate it!

Kindergarten was busy last week, so I'm behind on posting! We celebrated Dr. Seuss with dress up days and crafts, watched an old Dr. Seuss movie with our 3rd grade buddies, and watched a fun virtual presentation called Water Rocks! The best part of our week was Sam's Easter Bunny trap he brought in for show and tell! Thanks, Sam!
