B/G soccer take on Mediapolis tonight.

Tobin Schulz was our 1st grade “Star of the Week!” He did a wonderful job reading, “Go Dog Go!” He also shared his little brother, Kade! Tobin is so proud of his brother. We learned Kade follows Tobin around and wants to do everything he does.




Ruger Strickland was our 1st grade “Star of the Week!” He shared his puppy, Bow with us! For a puppy she did so well with our class. Ruger did a great job reading his book, “Hop on Pop!”




Quinn Matthews was our 1st grade “Star of the Week!” We loved hearing her read her favorite book, “The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, And The Big Hungry Bear. She also shared her dog, Riley!




2nd grade went on a field trip to Langwood today! We had so much fun! Thank you Louisa County Conservation!

It is time to think ahead to fall and Tackle Football! YSF (Youth Sports Foundation) will again partner with Wapello Youth Football to bring a tackle football program to Wapello.
Registration will be held on Friday, April 14th, from 5-6:30 PM. The parent (Guardian) and the player(s) must attend registration. Players will be fitted for equipment at this time. Online registration is available at www.youthsportsfoundation.org. If you choose to register online, you must still attend the registration night for equipment fitting.

Preschool enjoyed the nice weather this morning.










JJ brought us two visitors today; Potato and Chip🦆🦆 He gave us a lot of great information on how he has been caring for his baby ducks. Thank you for sharing with us!



The Wapello Golf teams hosted Winfield today at Heritage Oaks with the boys winning and girls losing. Boys were led by Cooper Garrison and the girls were led by Liv Fuller.

All Wapello High School Students in CTE Classes and all Juniors will be traveling to SCC for their annual SCC Day on Friday, April 14. The kids will be gone for most of the day. Lunch will be provided.

The Wapello CSD Food Pantry will be open today, April 13th from 3:45 - 5:00. We know the weather is nice, but please do not stand by the building and doors. This makes it difficult to get people and carts in and out of the building.
