A friendly reminder to all middle and high school parents/guardians: Students in grades 6 through 11 will be participating in the Iowa Statewide Assessment (ISASP) next week!
These assessments allow educators, students, and families to see the progress gained by our students each year. It is incredibly important that our students put forth their best effort on these assessments!

It has been a crazy start to the week with a snow day, late start, St. Patrick's Day activities, and a glittery mess left by Leprechauns. Then, what started as a snowy recess is now a melted, muddy mess. But, through the craziness, we are learning and having so much fun in kindergarten!🍀🪙

💙💛 National Athletic Training Month 💛💙
At Wapello, our student-athletes are supported by more than just coaches—they are cared for, protected, and guided by an incredible athletic trainer who goes above and beyond every single day.
👏 Thank you, Lishay Allen!
From injury prevention and on-field care to rehabilitation and recovery, Lishay plays a critical role in keeping our athletes healthy and safe. Whether it’s a Friday night under the lights or a weekend tournament, she is always there—ready to respond, support, and encourage.
Athletic trainers are often the first to step in during tough moments, and their knowledge, quick thinking, and compassion make a lasting impact on our programs and our students.
We are grateful for your dedication, your care, and the difference you make in the lives of our athletes every day.
💙💛 Thank you for everything you do, Lishay! 💛💙

The Iowa Golf Association Foundation’s Fore the Future Initiative Expands to Distribute Donated Golf Club Sets to High Schools Across Iowa
Des Moines, IA – The Iowa Golf Association Foundation (IGAF), in partnership with Ken Schall Golf Performance Studio, is proud to announce the expansion of its Fore the Future initiative through the distribution of donated, refurbished golf club sets to high school golf programs across Iowa. This spring, nearly 60 complete sets of clubs will be delivered to 27 Iowa high schools, marking an exciting step forward in providing young golfers with the equipment they need to thrive in the sport – at no cost to students or schools.
While the club distribution represents the final phase of the Fore the Future initiative, the effort began in October with a statewide club donation week. Thanks to the generosity of IGA members, hundreds of clubs were collected. Those clubs were carefully sorted and transported to Ken Schall Golf Performance Studio, where Seth Svejda, PGA, and his team regripped the clubs as needed. The studio donated 30 full sets of grips, along with significant time and materials, ensuring each club was restored to optimal playing condition.

Last call for Dinner Theater seat reservations! You can email Mrs. Swope at jennifer.swope@wapellocsd.org with your name, # of seats needed, and a phone number. The music boosters will be shopping on Saturday!
