Congratulations to our Special Olympic athletes, Emma Dunham, Gage Stanford, Morgan Wymore, and Abby Parsons. They participated in the regional Special Olympics bowling competition in Ottumwa today. Each athlete earned 1st place in their respective divisions and qualified for the State Bowling Competition.

We have another busy week on tap for our students, many of our athletes must now keep winning to keep playing as we are entering the post season. We have the first round of volleyball at home tonight, and our football team will be on the road on Friday for their first round game. Cross Country will have their state qualifying race this week as well.
NHS Inductions are on Tuesday, the school board meets on Wednesday and the HUGE Wapello Athletic Boosters Craft Show is on Saturday and will occupy both gyms at WHS. Currently there are more than 60 vendors signed up to display their items for sale.
