Ticket price reminder:

Varsity football is $7 (5 and up)
All other football levels are $5 (5 and up)

All conference events home and away are $5 (5 and up)
non-conference away events range from $5-$7, the price is set by conference, not schools.

Preschool had a great first day. We had beautiful weather and excited students!

The WCSD Food Pantry, located across from the Elementary, will be open to any families with students in Wapello Schools TONIGHT, Thursday. 8/28, from 3:45 to 5:00.

We are back in action with fall sports! The varsity volleyball team kicks us off at a varsity quad hosted by Burlington! The action will be held at SCC and game time is 5:30PM! Go Arrows!

Dear Wapello Community,
As you know, our hometown girl, Lydia Fisher, is Miss Iowa 2025. She will compete for Miss America 2026 on Sept. 7. Come to the WHS Auditorium and watch her compete on the big screen! Support her in all your glory!

It's the week all you parents have been waiting for! BACK TO SCHOOL! We ease into the events this week with just a couple, here is a look at our calendar of events for the first week of school!

There has been a mistake with the discount cards that the Wapello Indians Football Team has sold over the past few weeks. The coupon for Sal Vitale's Pizza indicates that it is good for a Free order of Cheese Sticks. This should have read 'Free order of Small Cheese Sticks.' We regret the error and apologize to everyone who purchased the cards.

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Ms. Madison Keller, who is joining the Wapello Community School District!

Ms. Keller began her journey in education at Muscatine Community College, where she earned her associate's degree, and then transferred to the University of Northern Iowa. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education and a minor in Art History.

When she’s not in the classroom, Madison enjoys line dancing, shopping at Target, and spending time with her kitty, Emmy. She also loves iced coffee, chicken Alfredo, and a good bag of Cool Ranch Doritos!

We’re thrilled to have her creativity and passion for teaching on our team. 💛💙

Junior High Volleyball will have a meeting Monday morning at 9 AM during AAT in the auditorium. All paperwork will be handed out at this time. Practice will start Tuesday 3:15-4:45 in the practice gym.
