The Wapello CSD food pantry will be open Thursday, March 24th from 3:45-5:00. We have milk, eggs, spiral ham, oranges, lettuce, grapefruit, taco meat and many other items.

Louisa County Extension is offering a one-day workshop that will help to build skills, maturity, and confidence to safely stay home alone. This workshop is for 4th-6th graders and will be on Monday, April 18th from 9 am – 3 pm at the Letts Community Center.

One more reminder about our Early Childhood Open-House on Wednesday, March 23 from 5:30-6:30. The PK and Kindergarten classrooms will be open, come see the classrooms and meet the teachers.
If you have a child that is turns 4 or 5 years old by Sept. 15, Hope to see you there!


Wapello Schools currently have 2 students with Down Syndrome at the Elementary, and 1 student with Down Syndrome at the High School. These students & their families will celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on 3/21 & want to share the fun with their friends, so they are inviting EVERYONE to join them!
YOU are invited to join us on Monday, 3/21 as we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day (3/21) By wearing wild & wacky socks to school!

Last Week we celebrated National School Breakfast Week. We did lots of Activities including a color contest and My breakfast hero story. A huge thank you to all that participated.




1st graders set out their leprechaun traps and tried to catch the little guy, but no luck!🍀 He did leave his green footprints, a chocolate treat, a message on the board, and a mess in our classroom!
