Saturday marks the final day for 2022 IHSAA/IGHSAU State Track meet. The day will kick off at 9:00 am for the Wapello Arrows.
9:00 am - Girls Sprint Medley Relay (A. Boysen, M. Lanz, Q. Veach, S. Shafer)
10:30 am - Emily Hemphill in the 800 M Run
12:55 pm - Jake Gustison in the 100 M Dash
1:55 pm - Lindsy Massner in the 200 M Dash
3:25 pm - Girls 4x100 M Relay (A. Boysen, L. Massner, Q. Veach, S. Shafer)
3:40 pm - Boys 4x100 M Relay (T. Palmer, T. Parsons, M. Griffin, J. Gustison)
All races on Saturday are finals! Good luck Indians and Arrows!
The FFA Greenhouse will be open from 9:00 am - 11:00 am on Saturday May 21.

If you plan on attending the class 1A State Golf on Monday and Tuesday, tickets went on sale today and you will need to purchase tickets on the Iowa High School Athletic Association website. Tickets are $10 for each Monday and Tuesday golf action. Wapello boys will be playing at the Ames Golf and CC.
Day Two of the IHSAA/IGHSAU State Track meet is in the books! The day started for the Indians and Arrows with the Boys then Girls 4x200 m relay (finals). The Boys relay (J. Gustison, M. Griffin, T. Palmer, T. Parsons) finished 9th with a time of 1:32.88. The Girls were up next (A. Boysen, P. Hank, Q. Veach, L. Massner) and finished 10th at 1:50.32. Then it was Serah Shafer in the 400 m Hurdles, were she finished in 5th place with a time of 1:07.33. After lunch it was the 4x100 m relay (prelims). The Girls relay team (A. Boysen, L. Massner, Q. Veach, S. Shafer) took to the track first, qualifying for finals with a time of 50.65 (2nd). Finally it was the Boys relay team (T. Palmer, T. Parsons, M. Griffin, J. Gustison) qualifying for the finals with a time of 43.83. Patricia Hank finishes 3rd in the IGHSAU Class 1A High Jump at 5'03".
The State meet wraps up tomorrow; check back for race schedules Saturday morning!

We have completed Morning Marathon. Thank you to all that came out and participated. We did have a very cold and rainy start! Awards for those that completed the Marathon will be given out on the last day of school during their awards ceremony.
