Signed forms due no later than September 3rd. Forms can be returned to the Elementary or Highschool offices.

Our final New Staff Member Spotlight is with Kelci Eakins. Ms. Eakins will be joining the staff at Wapello Jr/Sr High as the 6-12 Guidance Counselor.
Ms. Eakins attended Central College and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education. She also earned a Masters of Science Education in Professional School Counseling from Buena Vista University.
Her family consists of her parents, Brian and Luann Eakins as well as a brother, Kyle Eakins. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and friends. She has new nieces and nephews to spoil! She also enjoys reading books and listening to music.
We would like to welcome Ms. Eakins to the Wapello Community School District and are looking forward to the 2021-2022 school year that begins in just 12 short days!

Our next New Staff Spotlight is with Mr. Jacob Mace. Mr. Mace will join the Wapello High School Teaching Staff and will be teaching High School Social Studies when students return to the classroom on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
Mr. Mace is a recent graduate of the University of Iowa and Wapello High School will be his first teaching job! Mr. Mace's family includes his parents and two younger sisters. In his spare time, Mr. Mace likes to try out new recipes while cooking in his kitchen!
Congratulations Mr. Mace on your new job here at the Wapello Community School District. The Students, Staff, and Administration are looking forward to meeting you and are excited for another great year at Wapello High School!
