It is with heavy hearts that the Board of Directors, Administration, Staff, and Students mourn the loss of one of our Elementary Special Education Teachers, Ms. Angela Sutherland.
Ms. Sutherland began her teaching career at Wapello Elementary in 2009 and served hundreds of students that passed through the halls of Wapello Elementary during her career. She taught special education and did it every day with a smile on her face, and determination in her eyes.
You would often find her working late into the evenings, on weekends, and throughout the summer, always preparing to serve her students to the best of her ability. She served on numerous committees and was and advocate for special education students in our district.
The loss of Ms. Sutherland leaves a huge void in the halls of Wapello Elementary, and throughout the entire district. We ask that you keep Ms. Sutherland's family in your thoughts and prayers throughout the coming days.

The Arrows Volleyball team will take on WMU Wednesday, Oct. 20th beginning at 7:00 pm. Spectators will once again need to purchase tickets online (link below). Tickets are $6.00.
