DC Travelers… There is a mandatory meeting on March 17 @ 6PM in Mr. Brown’s room. Everyone who is traveling must attend this meeting. Please make arrangements to be there.

Spring Sports are beginning to ramp up this week for our athletes. This week also has events for the Fine Arts as well. You can catch some of our students in action this week at different events. Check out our weekly schedule of events to find out when our students will be back in action this week.

Our STATE CHAMPION Wapello TIES team is headed home from Des Moines. They will arrive in Grandview at approximately 10:00 pm. Wapello Fire and Rescue will be escorting the team home to the High School. If anyone wants to escort the boys home, meet in Grandview at 9:50 or so.

The Wapello TIES Rocket League team is your 2022 IAHSEA State Champion!!! What a match! Final score 3-2. Thank you everyone for supporting this team!

Monday is the start of National breakfast week. We will be doing different activities at both buildings. Prizes daily. Send those kiddos down for breakfast and help us celebrate the week.

Can you hear me now? 1st grade used telephone cups to understand that sound needs an object to move it.

Bryan Meza Chiang was our 1st grade “Star of the Week!” We loved seeing all of his photographs he brought and he also shared his “Baby Yoda” remote control car!

Louisa County Extension and Louisa County Farm Bureau brought Ag in the Classroom: The Amazing Milk Cow. In this lesson, students were introduced to dairy cows and that dairy products, like milk, come from these animals. Students had the opportunity to “milk a dairy cow”!

The Wapello CSD Board of Directors will meet for their regular monthly meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. The meeting will be held at the Wapello CSD Central Administration Office.
