2021 Senior Spotlight: Our final Senior Spotlight to close out April is Samantha Lynn Ewart. She is the daughter of Angela and Dave Ewart. While in high school, Sammy has been active in Track and NHS for two years, Football Cheerleading for three, and FCA and Basketball for four. This summer will be here fifth season on the high school Softball team. Sammy's future plans include attending the University of Iowa to major in Nursing, with the goal of becoming a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. She sites Mr. Brown as the teacher most influential in her life because "He taught me how to cope with my anxiousness, to not overthink, and to just have fun. Not only did Brown teach me how to become a better athlete, but he also taught me a lot about life." Sammy's advice to underclassmen is "do NOT procrastinate. It'll hurt in the long run." Best of luck in the future to Sammy!
