The Wapello Wrestling Cheerleaders will be hosting a Wapello Little Cheer Clinic on January 11 and 12, and performing during the halftime of the Boys Basketball Game on Jan 14. Wapello Elementary will be celebrating the holidays together with dress up days next week. We can’t wait to see your festive and fun outfits! 🎄🎅🏻

Here is another opportunity for students in grades K-3 over the Christmas Holiday Break! What do happy kids, healthy foods and messy tables have in common? They are all part of Kids in the Kitchen! Kids will have the opportunity to cook and taste healthy foods while learning about healthy eating and physical activity. This is for kids in grades K-3 at $15 per participant. Space is limited, so register early! Registration and payment is due by December 20th. Iowa State University Extension is offering a opportunity for students in grades 3-5 over the Christmas Break. Nutcracker + STEM The Nutcracker Ballet tells the story of a young girl, a heroic prince, and the fantastic dream they share. Kids will be looking at not only the Nutcracker – but also the science, technology, engineering, arts, and math that are part of the theater world through a reader’s theater performance and some fun challenges! Participants will perform a Reader’s Theater for family starting at 3 pm! This is for kids in grades 3-5 at $10 per participant. Space is limited, so register early!
