Congratulations to the Wapello High School Quiz Bowl Team for bringing home 3rd place medals in tonight's SEISC Conference Meet in West Burlington. The team won their first match against Danville, 130-90. They lost their second match, against Pekin, 205-145, and they won their third match, against Van Buren, 150-125. Team members were Seniors Will Parsons, Lexi Brown, and Haleigh Laud; Junior Alexander Chapman; and Freshmen Bennett Shutt and Bliven Buffington.

The Wapello CSD Board of Directors will meet for their first FY27 Certified Budget Hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 6:00 at the Wapello CSD Central Administration Office. Mrs. Humiston's Essential Social Studies class took a field trip today. They traveled to the Toolesboro Indian Mounds. They have been working on a unit learning about indigenous people. Thank you to Lana for showing them around!

A reminder of our meeting for students and parents/guardians of those going on the music Florida trip. I will meet with chaperones at 6:15 and then everyone at 6:30 in the music room. After the meeting, Mrs. Swope would LOVE for students to stay and help set up for dinner theater!!!
