6:00 P.M. 6:00-6:30 - 3rd & 4th Grade Boys Scrimmage 6:30-7:00 - 5th & 6th Grade Boys Scrimmage
7:00-7:30 - 7th & 8th Grade Boys Scrimmage
7:30- High School Boys Basketball Awards
8:00 - High School Basketball Scrimmage
During this event we will have a Baked Potato Bar and Baked Goods Concession Stand. All Proceeds will go to the Wapello Youth Basketball Program. We hope everyone will enjoy a good night of Wapello Basketball. Serving will start at 5:30 p.m. and will go until the end of the last game. Potato Bar will be a free will donation. Congratulations to the Wapello Arrows Basketball team on having five players named to the SEISC All Conference Team for the 2019-2020 season!
1st Team Selections include Eryka Dickey and Holly Massner. 2nd Team Selection, Sammy Ewart, and Honorable Mention selections, Lindsy Massner and Madyson Reid. In addition to the five players, Arrows Head Coach, Brandon Brown was named Coach of the Year for the North Division.
What an honor to have the entire starting team for the Arrows along with their head coach to be named to the All Conference Team for 2020!
Help us to congratulate Eryka, Holly, Sammy, Lindsy, Madyson, and Coach Brown on their accomplishment and an outstanding 2019-2020 season!

The food pantry is open from 3:30 - 5:30 tonight at the Elementary and High School buildings.
Congratulations to the 5th Grade students who went up in their MAPS Reading! They get to enjoy a movie and snack! Way to go kids!
Mrs. Smith's 5th Grade started a new unit in Reading on a Shakespeare's play. We started the unit on reading sentences with words that are used in the play by shaking their partner's hand and then reading the sentence. We learned some interesting words that Shakespeare used!

A reminder, the Elementary is is hosting an Early Childhood Open House TONIGHT! From 5:30-6:30. This is a great chance for any families of children who will be 4 or older next school year who want to check out our Pre Kindergarten and kindergarten classrooms, meet and speak with teachers and administration, ask questions, even get started with registration if you want. Come in and check it out!

Don't forget!! Tomorrow evening (2-26-2020), Wapello Elementary will host its Annual Early Childhood Open House. Come meet our Early Childhood Staff, Tour our Facilities, and get your questions answered by our staff and administration. We hope to see you on Wednesday evening from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
