The Indians return home tonight to take on the visiting Mediapolis Bulldogs. Start time has been moved up to 6:00 p.m. instead of the normal 7:00 p.m. start time. The 1989 State Qualifying Football Team will be recognized during halftime of tonight's game as well as a performance by the WHS Marching Band. The Wapello High School Student Council, along with the WHS Activities Department, is working to create a "student section" at football games this season. The goal is to locate this "student section" in the north part of the Home bleachers (allowing readily available access to the handicap ramp on the south end), where the band and all 6-12 grade student will be asked to sit. As such, we'd like to come up with a name for this "section"; so we're asking for community suggestions and support!. Help us by completing the short survey below to give us suggestions.
