A reminder - food banks are open at the Elementary and High school building tonight from 3:30-5:30. We have personal hygiene items this week and will have hours for next week.

A big "Thank You" to the Community Foundation of Louisa County for funding a grant to the Wapello Middle School for updated furniture earlier this year! Grant funds were used to purchase four new tables for the Middle School Math and Language Arts Room!

Eric Smith and Matt Stewart were recognized and honored at tonight’s WCSD for their years of service to the board and district. Following the recognition ceremony, newly-elected board members Matt Smith and Dave Moore were sworn into office. In addition, the new board held elections for officer positions. Doug Housman was elected Board President and Duane Boysen was elected to the position of Vice-President. #wearewapello #wapellotribepride
