Kabe Boysen won 1st place at the District Contest and will advance to the State Competition with his Swine Production, Entrepreneurship Proficiency Award Application. Tyler Cooley won 1st Place at the District Contest and will advance to the State Competition with his Swine Production, Placement Proficiency Award Application. Agricultural Proficiency Awards honor FFA members who, through their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) programs have developed specialized skills that they can apply toward their future careers. Today’s sectional wrestling tournament was quite successful for the Indians! Five wrestlers will move on the District tournament next weekend in Wilton. Dawson Tipps (2nd), Chase Witte (1st), Mitchell Moore (1st), Christopher Ewart (1st), and Daniel Meeker have secured their spot in the Districts. But not before the Indians travel to Lisbon on Tuesday for a 6:00 pm dual Regional tournament. Today’s runner up finish (212) qualifies them for the Regional tournament where they’ll face Lisbon.
