This Friday's Wapello Community School District Staff Feature Friday shines the spotlight on Mrs. Dayna Kinsey! Mrs. Kinsey is a 3rd Grade Teacher at Wapello Elementary.
Mrs. Kinsey is in her 21st year of teaching Elementary Education at Wapello Elementary. Mrs. Kinsey came to Wapello with 7 years of prior teaching experience in other schools prior to returning to her hometown to join the staff at Wapello Elementary.
Mrs. Kinsey holds degrees from Central College in Pella, Iowa as well as a degree earned abroad from Trinity College in Carmarthen, Wales UK.
Her family includes her husband Greg and children Ally, and Bryan. In her spare time, Mrs. Kinsey enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, boating on area rivers and lakes, as well as traveling and gardening.
When we asked Mrs. Kinsey what she likes best about working at the Wapello Community School District, Mrs. Kinsey responded, " I love that I am able to work in the same school that I went to elementary school in. I feel very fortunate to have worked with some fabulous mentors and friends. I have worked with so many great students!"
