Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss February 25th-March 1st March 2nd is Dr. Seuss’ birthday—Did you know Dr. Seuss would be 115 this year? While he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the pages of his books. He forever changed the way children’s books were written and continues to inspire generations. So next Wapello Elementary will honor him with dress up days, activities, and reading our favorite Dr. Seuss books. Monday- “Hats off to Dr. Seuss” (wear a hat or dress up like a Dr. Seuss character) Tuesday- “Read My Shirt” (wear a shirt others can read) Wednesday- “Wacky Wednesday” (wear crazy socks, crazy hair or mismatched clothes) Thursday- “The Lorax Mustache You a Question” (wear a mustache) Friday- “Cozy Up and Read” (wear your pajamas) #wearewapello #wapellotribepride

This week is National FFA Week, we would like to recognize our FFA Chapter for their hard work throughout the year. Whether it be Fruit Sales, the Elementary Petting Zoo, or THE ONLY PRCA RODEO put on by an FFA Chapter in the United States, you won't find a harder working FFA Chapter in the nation! Our FFA Chapter works hours upon hours to compete at a national level in so many different areas, and the Wapello FFA has seen so much success since its inception. We look forward to the continued success under the current officer team and Advisor, Mrs. Danielle Wolfe. The Wapello Community School District is proud of the reputation that our FFA Chapter has built and wishes the Chapter continued success in the coming year! #wearewapello #wapellotribepride
