New to the first grade classroom jobs this year is a "class greeter." Every morning students have the opportunity to greet the "class greeter" with their choice of a high-five, hand-shake, fist-pump, or hug along with a "good morning," "hi," or "have a great day." Wapello Cross-Country competed at the Wartburg Invitational Saturday with much success. The boys placed 18th overall and the girls finished 24th. Evelyn Peck was the top finisher for the girls with a 21:52, while Aiden Housman finished 26th (of 226) with a PR of 16:43. Nearly ALL racers set a new personal record (PR)
