In elementary music, we have been talking about stringed instruments. A student of mine brought in her violin to share with her 3rd grade class.

The WHS Pom Squad competed at the Iowa State Dance and Drill Team competition on Thursday in Des Moines. They received a Division I rating in Class II Novelty, 4th place in Class VI Pom and a Distinguished Academic Award for having a team GPA between 3.5 - 4.0. Elementary parents, if you have tried calling the Elementary office and nobody answered, keep trying. The phone system has been sporadic in operation. Seems to be work for the moment. Thank you for you patience as we work through this.
Bus #2 is running a little behind schedule this morning. The bus will make all pickups, just slightly behind schedule.
Due to fog and slick roads, Wapello is going to be 2 hours late today.
In Basketball action this evening, The Arrows will play at Winfield-Mt Union with tip off at 6:00 p.m. The Indians will play following the girls game.

Tonight kicks off the 2018 Willard Howell Wrestling tournament at Wapello. JV will wrestle tonight beginning at 5:30. Varsity will take the mat tomorrow at 10:00. Sunday the Tomahawk wrestlers will bring the weekend to a close. #wearewapello #willardhowell
