It has been a few months since we have seen the Big Yellow Buses on the road picking up and dropping off students. As we head back to class, please watch for little ones crossing the road and give this graphic a once-over to make sure you know when you are required to stop to ensure that all students get to school and back home each and every day!

Our next new staff member to spotlight is Maddison Konecne!
Maddison comes to Wapello Elementary to teach 2nd Grade this year, her second year as a teacher. She is a Southeastern Community College and Northwest Missouri State University graduate with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
Maddison's family includes her husband, Carter, and their two puppies, Hazel and Drake. In her spare time, Maddison enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, and going shopping!
Best of luck to Mrs. Konecne in her first year at Wapello Elementary. We hope it is the first of many years of a long career at Wapello!
