Another fun-filled week in kindergarten. We celebrated St. Patrick's Day, learned how pushes and pulls make things move, learned some more about wants versus needs from our JA volunteer, Mrs. Freitag, had some sunny recess days, rocked our socks for World Down Syndrome Day, and practiced for our upcoming music program 🍀❄️🌞🧦🏎🎵

We heard a leprechaun was spotted in the school today, so we quickly built a trap using shaving cream and glitter (hoping to trick him into thinking it was clouds and gold). We did not catch the leprechaun, but he did leave us some gold treats!🍀💰

Kindergarten had a great week preparing for 🍀St. Patrick's Day🍀 and searching our room for tricky words. We also had a visit from Alexis Brown, who performed her state speech piece for us. We loved it! Good luck, Alexis!💙💛

At WHS today - 24 juniors took the ACT test to help prepare for their futures. The test comprised of English, Math, Reading, and Science. The ACT is the nation's most widely accepted college entrance exam. This test will help guide our graduates toward college and career readiness.
