If you signed up to receive summer meals, please remember to pick up your meals each Tuesday during the designated pick-up time.

🌱 NOW HIRING – SUMMER GROUNDS & LAWN CARE HELPER 🌱

The Wapello Community School District is seeking a Summer Grounds & Lawn Care Helper to assist with maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of district grounds throughout the summer months. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Primary responsibilities may include:

✅ Mowing, weed-eating, and trimming around baseball, softball, and football fields
✅ Trimming around district buildings, sidewalks, fences, and playgrounds
✅ Push mowing detailed or hard-to-reach areas
✅ Edging sidewalks, curbs, and landscaped areas
✅ General lawn care and grounds cleanup
✅ Other duties as assigned

💲 Pay: $18.00 per hour
🕒 Hours: Approximately 20–25 hours per week (with potential for additional hours depending on growing conditions)

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and wants to help keep our school facilities looking their best.
