Track today!

Aurora Bryant was our 1st grade “Star of the Week!” We all loved listening to her favorite book, “How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night?” Aurora shared a special stuffed fox animal, she got it at the St. Louis zoo.

Ruby Browning was our 1st grade “Star of the Week!” We enjoyed a visit from her cat, Luca! Ruby loves all things cat! Her favorite book is, “The Little Frog.”

Esther's Skydancer was a hit in kindergarten during sharing last week! We had fun experimenting and learning about how force creates motion. We also learned about gravity and friction. Danny Go is always fun for brain breaks too!

Are your kids looking for something to do this Friday, when there is no school?
Everybody Kneads Bread is a FREE and super fun Iowa 4-H program for kids in grades 4th -6th on Friday, March 29th from 9am - 3pm, a no school day! It will be held at the Wapello Home Economics Room at the Wapello High School. It is open to anyone, 4-H youth and non-4-H youth alike. We will learn all about the fascinating science of bread, baking, and enjoying those delicious loaves! During this 6-hour adventure, the kids will get to hang out with friends and learn all about bread. Sign up now, as we will only take 15 youth, so everyone gets a chance to dive into the dough and have their creations bake up beautifully in the oven. Sign up for this free event at: www.4honline.com or e-mail Melissa at the Louisa County Extension office for help registering, melbell@iastate.edu.
