Today, Wapello Elementary students and staff wore black to support the New London community and all affected by the tragic loss of one of their students, Gavin Browning. We are keeping you in our thoughts during this difficult time.

The Wapello Community School District Board of Directors will meet on Tuesday, October 1, at 7:00 p.m. at the Wapello High School Auditorium for a special meeting. This meeting will be a public comment forum for stakeholders to give feedback for or against a four-day school week that is being considered.
The format for the listening session will be as follows:
1. Anyone wishing to address the board must sign in before the meeting begins.
2. Individuals addressing the board will be limited to 3 minutes.
3. Individuals may address the board a maximum of 2 times if time allows.
This is meant to be an opportunity for the public to express thoughts/concerns to the board. Since this is a listening session, the board will not respond or engage in any discussions. If you have any questions, please reach out to me at mike.peterson@wapellocsd.org
Childcare will be available that evening.
