Harvey Lanz is our 1st grade, “Star of the Week!” He did a great job reading, “Big Red Barn.” Harvey introduced his new little sister, Hattie! She is so sweet and a sleepy girl! How lucky are they to share a birthday and look alike!

First grade is enjoying some new STEM activites after they get work done!
Ella Hunt is our 1st grade, "Star of the Week!" She was so excited for her grandpa to bring her miniature cow in to show her classmates and have them pet him. Her cow was nervous so we had to be patient to let him settle down;) She also did an awesome job reading, "Are You My Mother?"
Tomorrow night's (9/26) JH football game will not be live streamed. Unfortunately, we had to send in our camera to get worked on. We have high hopes that we will have it reinstalled before the HS game next Friday.

On October 1, the Wapello School Board will meet in the auditorium for a listening session regarding the possible adoption of a 4-day school week starting with the 25-26 school year. The listening session will begin at 7:00pm. The format for the listening session will be as follows:
1. Anyone wishing to address the board will need to sign in before the meeting begins.
2. Individuals addressing the board will be limited to 3 minutes.
3. Individuals may address the board a maximum of 2 times, if time allows.
This is meant to be an opportunity for the public to express thoughts/concerns to the board. Since this is a listening session, the board will not respond or engage in any discussions.
