At their meeting last night, the WCSD school board decided to make the following calendar adjustments in order to recover the lost instructional hours due to weather. The following adjustments were approved:
1. May 23rd will now be a full day with students. May 24th will be the student's final day and they will have an early dismissal.
2. The following Wednesday will now be full student days: February 21, March 27, April 10, April 17, and May 15.
3. Starting February 20, on early out Wednesdays, students will be dismissed 15 minutes later. The elementary will start loading buses at 1:15 and the JH/HS will dismiss at 1:25.
4. Starting February 20, on all other days, the school day will be extended by 10 minutes. The elementary will start loading buses at 3:20. The JH/HS will dismiss at 3:25.
