FFA Greenhouse Extended Hours
“Have fun, work hard, but not too hard.” Words of advice from graduating senior Jake Ryan Gustison. Jake is the son of Corey and Jessica Gustison. While in high school, Jake claims he spent most of his time on his phone, but he was also a four year member of the football team, a three year member of the track team, and a one year member of the baseball and basketball teams. Jake lists Mr. Parsons as his most influential teacher because he taught Jake a lot. After graduation, Jake plans to enter the workforce. Congratulations, Jake!

“All I want is to have my peace of mind”- Boston – These are the words senior, Aragorn Little, lives his life by. Aragorn Little is the son of Scott Little and Noella Flores and has spent his high school years, “Enjoying the atmosphere and the people around me.” He also spent a lot of time as a member of the choir, football, basketball, and golf teams. He also is a member of the TIES team. Aragorn says that his favorite teacher is his fifth grade teacher, Tyler Gellinger, because “[He] taught me how to be respectful. He cared about me. He made me a better kid which really helped me down the road and he was very influential and motivational. He even cried when I graduated from Elementary school to middle school.” The words of guidance that he would give to underclassmen would be, “Don’t skip, go to class.” Next fall, Aragorn plans to join the workforce, become a full-time volunteer firefighter, and be an ambulance driver for Wapello. Good Luck, Aragorn!

Kolton Hauser, son of Mary Carey and Adam Hauser, says that he has spent the most amount of time learning to become an adult throughout his time at WHS. His advice to the underclassmen, “Don't care what others think of you, and stay motivated to finish your class work.” Kolton is an active student at WHS, as a four year member of the basketball team and three year member of the soccer team. He also is a member of the National Honor Society and TIES team. It is with the TIES program that Kolton made the best high school memories and says that Mr. Peck became the influential teacher in his life because he founded and coached the team. Kolton’s yearbook quote comes from fellow classmate, Cristian Tolentino, "Do your work last minute, it only takes a minute." After high school, Kolton plans to attend Iowa State University to pursue a degree in Agricultural Systems Technology. Congratulations, Kolton!
