The Wapello eSports team had their first competition of the year playing Ultimate Smash Brothers vs Lone Tree. Wapello won 2-0 with round scores of 5-3 and 5-4. Wapello was led by Isaiah Engle playing as Bowser. Wapello will face off against Griswold High School next Tuesday.

Festivities kick off on Saturday night with the Homecoming Dance! It will be for grades 9-12. $5 per student.
The dance will be semi-formal and will be held at WHS from 8-11.
For Homecoming 2022 - Student Council would like to honor an Outstanding Fan of the Wapello Community school district. This person will be honored at the Parade, and Spirit NIght.
Nominations will close Friday at noon.

Spectator parking will be near the soccer fields and Handicap parking near the Concession Stand. The Start is behind the visitor bleachers and the finish is on the softball field by plum street.
