Iowa State University Extension is offering a opportunity for students in grades 3-5 over the Christmas Break.
Nutcracker + STEM
The Nutcracker Ballet tells the story of a young girl, a heroic prince, and the fantastic dream they share. Kids will be looking at not only the Nutcracker – but also the science, technology, engineering, arts, and math that are part of the theater world through a reader’s theater performance and some fun challenges! Participants will perform a Reader’s Theater for family starting at 3 pm! This is for kids in grades 3-5 at $10 per participant.

What do happy kids, healthy foods and messy tables have in common? They are all part of Kids in the Kitchen! Kids will have the opportunity to cook and taste healthy foods while learning about healthy eating and physical activity. This is for kids in grades K-3 at $15 per participant.

K-2 Winter Concert is tomorrow night, Monday 12/13 @ 6pm in the High School Auditorium. Please have your child in the High School music room at 5:40pm.
JH Band & Choir concert is this Tuesday, 12/14 @ 7pm in the High School Auditorium. Students should be there at 6:30pm.
Free will donation for both concerts!

Cameron Wehmeyer was our 1st grade “Star of the Week!” Cameron showed us his hoverboard skills and read a special book about him! Wow, we were all impressed!
