A great day on the blue oval for the Wapello Indians and Arrows. Lindsy Massner qualified for the 200 m dash with a time of 26.97, while just missing the 100 m dash qualifier with a time of 13.51. Jake Gustison finds himself in the finals in the 100 m dash, qualifying with a time of 11.49. Dylan Woodruff finished 11th in the 400 m dash with a time of 52.17. And Ryan McDonough is your 2022 IHSAA State Runner up in the Class 1A shot put with a distance of 52'04" (a personal record). More action will take place on Friday...check back for a schedule of events tomorrow morning!

The Wapello Indians will kick off the 2022 season tonight when they welcome the Wildcats from Durant High School to the Carl "Mac" McGill Athletic Complex. The first pitch is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the JV contest, followed by the varsity. It will be a beautiful night for baseball, come cheer on the Indians as they look for the first win of the season! #WeAreWapello
