Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! 🎂. Students made candles for a birthday cake, drew the Cat in the Hat and read Dr. Seuss books during our Tribe Time today.
The WHS Pom Squad is performing at the Iowa High School Girls’ State Basketball Tournament in Des Moines today. They received an invitation following their state dance competition in December to dance at the tournament. The team will perform their “Minions” Pom routine at halftime of the 5A quarterfinal game at 1:30 p.m. today. #wearewapello #wapellotribepride

During this event we will have a Baked Potato Bar and Baked Goods Concession Stand. All Proceeds will go to the Wapello Youth Basketball Program. We hope everyone will enjoy a good night of Wapello Basketball. Serving will start at 5:30 p.m. and will go until the end of the last game. Potato Bar will be a free will donation. Congratulations to the Wapello Arrows Basketball team on having five players named to the SEISC All Conference Team for the 2019-2020 season!
1st Team Selections include Eryka Dickey and Holly Massner. 2nd Team Selection, Sammy Ewart, and Honorable Mention selections, Lindsy Massner and Madyson Reid. In addition to the five players, Arrows Head Coach, Brandon Brown was named Coach of the Year for the North Division.
What an honor to have the entire starting team for the Arrows along with their head coach to be named to the All Conference Team for 2020!
Help us to congratulate Eryka, Holly, Sammy, Lindsy, Madyson, and Coach Brown on their accomplishment and an outstanding 2019-2020 season!
