Wapello Pro Rodeo Postponed to 2021
In the interest of public health and safety, the 2020 Wapello Pro Rodeo is postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This decision has been incredibly difficult for the committee, but we know it is the right one. The health and safety of our fans, volunteers, contestants, first responders, healthcare workers, and everyone in our community is the only thing that matters right now. The only responsible decision was to put their safety first.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We’re now shifting our focus to planning for the 13th Wapello Pro Rodeo in 2021. The 2021 Wapello Pro Rodeo will be the 40th anniversary of the Wapello FFA hosting a rodeo. In the meantime, the Wapello FFA will be doing all we can to help our fans and our community stay healthy and remain positive as we all navigate through this difficult time. We look forward to bringing back quality family entertainment to Wapello, surrounding communities, and Southeast Iowa next year.
