Did you know that Wapello Elementary School has a brand new series that we are using for our reading instruction? CKLA stands for Core Knowledge Language Arts. The teachers were trained in the new series during the Back to School inservice days in August. The students are now learning the ins and outs of the new program.
CKLA sequences deep content knowledge with research-based foundational skills. We are very excited about this exciting change!
